Representation of
Minor Children

In a custody or visitation legal proceeding, whether through a Paternity action or Dissolution action, the court may appoint an attorney to represent the interest of the child. Unfortunately during legal proceedings, the parent's anger and hostility towards each other overshadows the needs of the children. The appointment of minor's counsel ensures that the children's voice is heard and ensures that the children are not utilized as bargaining tools for the adult parents.
