In 2004, Ms. Alpert was awarded the Los Angeles County Superior Court's Volunteer of the Year for the extensive volunteer work in the Los Angeles community. In 2003, Suzanne Y. Alpert received an 'Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award' in recognition of her services at a nonprofit legal aid organization in Los Angeles.
